Paysafe Group’s digital payment platform, Skrill, has teamed up with LA10 Football Club in Los Angeles. The club is owned by Italian soccer legend Alessandro Del Piero.
Skrill will be the new shirt sponsor for the team, which was established just last September. The company will also utilize the club’s social media platforms to promote the partnership.
Skrill will also gain from a closer relationship with Del Piero. The former Juventus player has been collaborating with Skrill since May 2018.
Lorenzo Pellegrino, Skrill’s CEO, stated: “This is a significant agreement for Skrill and Paysafe. It’s a crucial component of our expansion strategy.”

Alessandro Del Piero, the Italian World Cup champion of 2006, stated, “Since joining forces with Skrill, I have been consistently impressed by their technological platform and their dedication to customer support. I am delighted they have decided to sponsor LA10.”
LA10 will participate in the United Soccer League in the springtime of 2019.
