Aspers, a renowned UK land-based gambling establishment operator, is poised to introduce an internet casino powered by Gaming Innovation Group (GiG). This collaboration will see Aspers leverage GiG’s comprehensive suite of offerings, encompassing their cutting-edge technological platform, managed services, front-end development, customer relationship management, and marketing expertise.
This strategic partnership will furnish Aspers with a fully managed solution, streamlining the transition from a physical operation to the digital domain. GiG underscores that this accord will substantially diminish the complexities and expenditures associated with launching an online casino for operators.
This announcement follows a comparable agreement unveiled by GiG in April, where they inked a term sheet with a leading UK land-based operator. The current agreement with Aspers has a duration of three years with an option for extension. The online casino is scheduled to debut in the final quarter of 2022, with profitability anticipated in the initial quarter of 2023.
Richard Noble, the chief executive officer of Aspers, conveyed his enthusiasm for the partnership, asserting that it will empower them to deliver a top-tier omni-channel experience for their clientele. The online platform will extend the Aspers casino experience to both online and offline patrons. Noble also emphasized their dedication to responsible gambling, highlighting that it is a fundamental value of their brand.
The vendor forecasts that the British online gaming market will produce £4 billion ($4.72 billion/€4.72 billion) in overall gaming revenue in 2022.
Richard Brown, head of GiG, stated: “We are thrilled to collaborate with Aspers, a prominent operator in the brick-and-mortar gambling industry, whose principles align with ours in accountable gaming, corporate social duty, and embracing digital change.” He further remarked: “We perceive substantial potential in the UK, particularly as we can utilize the ‘brand value’ and physical presence that Aspers possesses, alongside our multi-channel solution.
“We anticipate working closely with the Aspers team to maximize their potential through a successful digital transition and expect that Aspers will become a significant and valuable client for GiG. This kind of agreement perfectly aligns with our business scope, assisting land-based gambling operators to digitally transform and showcase our products in the British market.”
The agreement is anticipated to extend beyond online casinos at some unspecified future point.
