BetMGM has received a distinguished mark of recognition from the Responsible Gaming Council.
The RGC has granted BetMGM a new certification known as the RG Check. This designation mandates that companies undergo a comprehensive assessment of all aspects of their responsible gaming initiatives. This encompasses elements such as employee education, promotional content, and safeguards for players.
BetMGM presented its digital platforms across the USA, Ontario, and Bogota for evaluation. As part of the procedure, the RGC will also provide suggestions to further enhance BetMGM’s dedication to responsible gaming.
The CEO of BetMGM, Adam Greenblatt, conveyed his satisfaction in obtaining the RG Check accreditation. He emphasized, “It showcases our commitment to fostering responsible gaming practices and prioritizing the well-being of our customers throughout our operations.” He continued, “We anticipate ongoing collaboration with the RGC and other parties in our sector to contribute to a secure and responsible gaming environment.”
This latest acknowledgment reinforces BetMGM’s continuous dedication to responsible gaming. In March 2023, BetMGM extended its longstanding collaboration with GameSense via the British Columbia Lottery Corporation. GameSense is an entity devoted to encouraging constructive and supportive conversations about responsible gaming. BetMGM has incorporated GameSense resources into its platforms and prominently features GameSense signage at MGM Resorts venues.
RGCs high-ranking representative, Shirley White, commended BetMGM on achieving responsible gaming accreditations throughout its complete North American platform. She lauded BetMGM’s commitment to fostering responsible gaming practices and prioritizing player well-being, emphasizing their dedication as a commendable model within the sector.
This accomplishment arrives at a crucial juncture, as BetMGM recently addressed a proposed US legislative measure that could implement a comprehensive prohibition on all forms of gambling-related advertising.
