Cipher Sports Technology Group and Times Leader Media Group Join Forces to Enhance Sports Betting Coverage in Pennsylvania

A prominent iGaming and sports wagering information and solutions provider, Cipher Sports Technology Group, has teamed up with the Times Leader Media Group, a leading Pennsylvania newspaper. This alliance will result in a specialized sports gambling section on the Times Leader website.

This strategic collaboration will utilize Cipher Sports’ knowledge to deliver insightful forecasts and analysis for both professional and collegiate athletic competitions. Kerry Miscavage, the Times Leader Media Group’s publisher, expressed excitement about the partnership, saying it will give their Pennsylvania audience a vibrant and captivating sports betting platform. They hope to improve their coverage of local and national sporting events by combining their journalistic skills with Cipher Sports’ state-of-the-art predictive analytics.

Pennsylvania has one of the most developed sports betting markets in the country. Following the Supreme Court’s May 2018 decision to overturn the federal prohibition, Pennsylvania became one of the first states to legalize sports betting in November of that year. The state expanded its offerings in May 2019 by introducing online and mobile betting, and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has even established a self-exclusion program to encourage responsible gaming.

Cipher Sports Technology Group’s top dog, Adam Fiske, is thrilled about their latest collaboration. He believes that merging Cipher’s robust data analytics with Times Internet’s extensive network is revolutionary. They are certain this will elevate the sports wagering experience for their clientele.

He stressed that both organizations have a common goal: to build a platform that transcends mere gambling and empowers informed decisions. It appears Times Internet is already developing focused promotional initiatives to spread awareness about their sports wagering products.

The timing is impeccable! Their July 2023 analysis reveals a 9% surge in total gambling earnings in Pennsylvania, but here’s the clincher – sports betting income exploded by an astounding 48%!
