Scientific Games Appoints Amy Stehman as Chief Human Resources Officer

Scientific Games has designated Amy Stehman as its new Head of Human Resources. A seasoned professional from Koch Industries, Stehman will also join the company’s senior leadership group. She contributes over two and a half decades of expertise to Scientific Games, a worldwide lottery organization with 3,000 staff members across 16 nations.

Throughout her tenure at Koch Industries, Stehman held numerous management positions. Significantly, she directed the incorporation of Infor, a multi-tenant SaaS enterprise, into the Koch framework. Stehman’s proficiency encompasses organizational structure, talent cultivation, and nurturing a cooperative global environment. She is also recognized for her efforts in directing business evolution and change administration, specifically in crafting change leadership approaches for digital and procedural transformations. Before her time at Koch, Stehman held human resources executive roles at Invensys and Georgia-Pacific.

Pat McHugh, Chief Executive Officer of Scientific Games, conveyed his assurance in Stehman’s capacity to oversee the company’s HR function. “Amy is a seasoned and energetic HR head with vast experience encompassing all aspects of human resources,” McHugh remarked. “Her demonstrated history of constructing successful, high-achieving global groups and industry-specific operational models will be essential in propelling organizational expansion. Our entire executive leadership team enthusiastically awaits her input and strongly believes she will further enable Scientific Games to flourish.”

This designation follows Scientific Games’ latest proclamation in May 2024 concerning a broadened partnership with the Kansas Lottery to furnish its instant game administration system.

This agreement is a major victory for Scientific Games! The company will oversee numerous aspects of the Kansas Lottery, including investment management, game development, data analysis, logistics optimization, and even marketing and retail support.

Furthermore, they will implement their advanced SCiQ retail system in select Kansas lottery retail locations. This cutting-edge technology streamlines the management of instant scratch-off tickets. The contract will be in effect for five years, with an option to renew for an additional five years if both parties are satisfied.

This announcement follows closely on the heels of Scientific Games securing another significant contract to remain the primary provider of scratch-off tickets for the New York Lottery. Their nearly five-decade partnership with New York is a testament to their expertise in the lottery industry.
